prom, and getting my hair cut

So I am not going to prom. Here's what I'm doing: watching chick flicks, eating ice cream, crying, eating ice cream, crying, and watching chick flicks. Hahaha. I am such a high school girl. Oh well. I also want to cut my hair. I found a cut in 17 magazine and it looks way cute in there so I am thinking about that. Also I think that Anthropologie is like, the best store in the whole world. I need a math tutor that's not in Brazil. Ha ha ha. Hooray for Maddie night on Saturday. :D

Sense and Sensibility

I love the movie Sense and Sensibility and now I am going to start reading the book, because I own the book. I love the movie so much. Oh my gosh, when Eleanor breaks down in sobs when Edward comes back and then he professes his love for her. :) Oh my gosh. It just kills me. "That my heart is and always will be... yours." Ah! I love it so much! I wish I could live in the 1800's... my brother told me I'd smell bad, but I told him the men were better then. Whom ever becomes my husband, he will practice chivalry regularly. I am certain of that. I think I am going to watch it again. :)

i bought a tie, i'm reading a book called life in the fat lane, and net year i'm in the singles ward.

Oh dear. Well, lets start off with the tie that i bought. it is really pretty, well, pretty is probably too girly. It was Manly. Haha. Well, anyway, it is really nice. I should Put a picture up. It was a new thing for me, buying a tie. I am sending a package to my friend and I am sending treats, but I don't know what hard candy to send. I guess anything from the U.S. would be good. I am so excited!!! Haha. :) Well, I just want to say that I am reading a really great book. It's easy for me to relate to, but I love it. It's very interesting and it's teaching me a lot about teen girls struggling with weight and eating disorders. I am learning quite a bit. So I have been thinking about next year. It totally freaks me out, the part that I'll be going to the singles ward. WEIRD! Haha. so weird to me. I am just enjoying every minute of yw right now. Even to the point of me going to stake dodgeball on saturday this week. I am actually kind of looking forward to it. I love my family! Not just my immediate family, but especially my aunt linda and uncle doug and their kids who have kids. They are the best and I feel like they are always there. :) I am so grateful for them! :) I hope everyone has a great day and week!

barnes & noble, hello yogurt, and sleeping with jane austen

My friends. They are so funny. oh my. Tonight we hung out for a while. So, we looked at our seventeen magazine horoscopes and then ate some sour patch's. We drove to my grandparents house to jump on the trampoline. So fun! Well, Danica decided we should go to hello yogurt. Oh my gosh! That was so fun! You make your own frozen yogurt and then put toppings on it. Well, then we decided to go to barnes & noble. Hahaha. My friends rock! Don't worry, for a fun friday night we look through countless numbers of books for a couple hours. PARTAY! :) Seriously, I loved every minute of it. I bought two books and I hope to read both. I will. Who am I kidding? well, let me explain sleeping with jane austen. Oh danica. we lover her. She enjoys falling asleep while reading jane austen and she'll be the writer with the stuffed animals. :) I know you are reading this Dani! I love you dearly! Let me make this known. Bronte runs fast. . . we're good at get-aways. Hahahaha. ah man. we'll get through it together Bronte. I am tired, and have a cough so I feel like I should sleep. Wait! One more thing. Bronte can do a killer Keats accent. Bahaha.

life is no bueno

I am struggling today. My life is hard right now. On top of high school, my parents are divorcing. Can I just say how hard that is? Anyway. That's why I spent a while sitting in the temple parking lot bawling my eyes out. Life is no bueno today. Sometimes I just want to give up, but then I get a nice email from a nice boy. I am so grateful for that! Today in history I sat there feeling like the day should be over. I know that even though life is hard for me right now, that I can get through it because Heavenly Father is there, he loves me, he knows my heart, he'll let me get through this. The Church is the thing getting me through. I know that someday I hope to marry a man who can take me to the temple and who will be worthy and love the Gospel with all of his heart. :) Have a nice day everyone!

Today is Wednesday. I didn't get one today. *sigh*. It's okay. I just have to wait for next week to come around. Today was so exciting. I almost fell asleep in Horticulture, I failed my quiz in math (in my defense I was absent when they learned it), and I was stressed about orchestra. But here's the most absolute best part of my whole day, maybe even junior year, we are singing Single Ladies-Crush mash ups for the last choir concert! We are singing Beyonce. haha. so awesome! :) I did have a fun time at work tonight. Zach Erekson. Funny kid. weird, annoying, but funny. I talked in my new york accent because he wanted to hear it. I guess it was funny. huh. so Bronte and I are going on a road trip, when or where we don't know. All we know is that we will be leaving Utah county. Hopefully we go to Washington, (state) that would be such a fun trip. :) i discovered after seeing many obese people in Disneyland, i should probably work out more often. haha. i decided i need to be a better student and strive to be better spiritually. I can do it! Just need a medal to wear for some motivation. Hahaha. inside joke. i apologize. :) Hope everyone has a great week filled with love! I mean just friendly love, but I guess if you wanna hold someones hand, that works too. Because, ya know, who doesn't enjoy hand action? Hahaha. Well, I think that's my cue to stop this blog post.

wishing... stupid guys... i'll make it...

So I've decided that in high school, there are the strange, in between, and gorgeous. I am the in between. Guys just don't ask me out. Even though I make an effort, it never works. But I've decided that someday I'll be the gorgeous for some really amazing guy who thinks the world of weird me. :) Sometimes it sucks because I just have to deal with the fact that I may not get asked to a dance, or get asked to hangout with any guys, but you know what? This is such a small part of my life. I can get through one more year. I am making a goal of just living in the now instead of saying, "I wish it was next year." It will be hard, but I will try my best. High School isn't finding out who you are, it's finding out your strengths, weaknesses, triumphs and falls. I have triumphed many times and fallen many times. It doesn't help that there is stuff going on in my family life, but if I just keep my focus on what positive things are going on, I can triumph more than fall. I can't get over wishing for wednesdays just yet. :) It's still my favorite day of the week. I hope everyone has a good week! I am leaving for choir tour on Tuesday so I'm not sure if I'll get to blog because I have things to do. super bored

I like not going to school, but I have had no where to go and nothing to do. I even look good today. ah man. Well, I think I will go visit my sister at Taco Amigo. That tells you how bored I am because normally I don't like to go if I am not working. Well, I kinda want a small strawberry slush. Mmm. :) I need someone to hangout with. I guess finding that four leaf clover wasn't lucky. Hahaha. Have a great weekened everyone! :D

graduating next year. i'm scared. missing people. well, one people

Last night I had a semi-melt down. Ah! So much is changing in my family right now and I am graduating high school next year. I am excited for the not-seeing-people-you-are-sick-of-seeing part, but the growing up, being responsible part really frightens me quite a bit. I'll survive, I just get a little nervous. My sister is having a baby, my other sister is getting married, my parents are divorcing, I will be a senior and my brother will be starting junior high. This is quite a large change, but I'm ready. Bring it on. Haha. Oh my. I also had a little melt down last night because I miss people, well, one people. Weird. I know. I was having a hard time figuring some things out and it's good there is email that is quick and almost instant. If not, I probably would have cried forever last night. I am glad that I am living the Gospel. How amazing is it that I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints? I think it's pretty darn amazing! :) I am truly blessed. Even though all of this change is taking place I know I'll be okay because I have my friends, family, and school, and most important, Heavenly Father to listen to all of my life's problems. :) Love you all! don't rain on my parade...

Don't Rain on My Parade is just a showy way of saying get out of my face and stop dragging me down. Haha. This is my theme song. I love it. BAM! Hey here I am! A lot of people now think I have a boyfriend from England. This is a joke. I thought it would be funny and now people actually believe me. L-ing-o-l. Oh dear. I hope someday I can go there. For now, I'll just dream of going to prom. I kinda want to go just so I can say that I have been. Is that a bad thing? I also want to wear a dress that's too puffy and won't fit in a car. I want to wear heels that are a little too big so that one falls off and then a guy finds it. Like Cinderella. Now I'm just daydreaming. Haha. My sincere apologies. Now I am going to a movie with my dear brother. Bridger. What a treat. He makes my life so interesting. Haha. I swear he is way smarter than me. He's an old man in a 12-year-olds body. Alright, well, I think I want to blow bubbles when I get home. Yay! Sorry, I am weird, but who cares? I like being weird and nerdy. I am rather good at it. :) Have a wonderful Spring Break everyone!

happy easter day!

Last night Bronte and I went to get pedicures. They were so wonderful. The little Chinese lady said, "Happy Easter Day!" It was so nice of her. Yesterday I woke up to someone jumping on me saying,"Maddie, you made Chamber!!!!" It was very exciting yesterday. haha. :) I laughed a lot yesterday. Haha. It's just been a good week! I am glad conference is on. I love it so much! I know that the Gospel is true! I am a child of God! :D

it's.... my birthday!!!

So, it's my birthday today. :) I am so grateful that I am alive! :) It's good to have wonderful friends and family, and church leaders! I am so lucky to live in such a beautiful world with amazing people. I even got an early present yesterday, actually 2. Letter and Book. :D I love you all! Thank you so much for the birthday wishes!
