Yesterday, while driving, while wearing my captain eo sweatshirt that is totally 80's, while wearing a pair of boots over some yoga pants, I realized, hey, I'd rather be watching a fun movie with a group of people who understand me, then doing nothing. social life going up or down? down. haha. My best friend is leaving for France. yes, you read that right. France. I am so excited for her! I told her to make out with a guy she meets there because, it's not like she will see the boy again anyway. Last night I was lying awake thinking about next year this time, and how much excitement is building inside me just for it to explode when it comes. I love wednesdays, and sometimes my face hurts from smiling so much. but smiling is good, i like smiling. no. i love smiling. nick jonas got called to the role of marius for the amazing les miseables! am i excited for him? absolutely! i think he'll be wonderful. it's the hair. haha. no just kidding. one of this weeks goals? i want to exercise every day this week. will i do it? yes! well, i think i'm going to go get myself some keats in for today. oh yearbooks... what a treat. :)

It always purely amazes me what people write in my yearbook. A kid I haven't talked to since ninth grade asked me to sign the yearbook. ha. who knew? Bronte said it was the dress. :) Well, I sure hope it's the dress because I just bought my second dress/item from Nordstrom. I feel so cool. You have to understand that I never shop there, so buying my dress there was a big deal. I absolutely love it. Guys always pay more attention when girls wear fabulous dresses. Today I had lunch at Kneaders with my very wonderful friend. Oh, the good times. :) I am so excited for tomorrow! I cannot wait to write in everyones yearbook. When I write in someones yearbook, I hope they understand that I am trying to be so genuine, instead of, "H.a.g.s. You are awesome! You are cool! I hope to see you next year, and stay out of trouble! This year was fun! love ____." Yeah. I so don't write that. Haha. Lol. Yes I just typed lol. I guess I felt cool because, I even got a couple of numbers. Yeah!.... maddie's moving up in the social line! No longer the socially awkward person, then again, I have blossomed from my awkwardness. Hahaha. family joke there. Well, I am so glad I have some readers! :) I enjoy reading all of the comments, and I just want to say thanks! :) I am so glad I am not the only one who feels what i feel about life and etc... summer is almost hee...

Hello anyone who reads this. Sorry I feel like I haven't blogged in a while, but I probably have... anyway, I hope my summer goes as planned. I really want to look fairly attractive for my senior pictures which means, treadmill here I come. Maybe bronte really will be my personal trainer. haha. :) I hope that I can get a cute new do. My hair is making me literally sick. I want to read as much as I can. My grandma has given me a lovely invitation to go help her this summer! Yay! :) This excites me! Yes, I have a punch card for the snow shack. This will take me like, a week to get through seeing as I go about everyday. I have weird little hopes, like, maybe my blog will become better. Megan Abel's blog is like, the best thing I've ever seen. Really. I think this summer I will go on a road trip. Because, that would be really fun. I hope this summer to save up enough money to buy something worth while from Anthropologie. That would make my life so much better. Ah, maybe I'll buy a pair of shorts... actually, nevermind. good reading

After I read a book, it takes me a while to get out of it. I seriously think about the characters and what happened. Yeah I know that's weird, but yes, I do that. The book I just read, The Secret Life of Bees, is a wonderful book. I love everything about it. Now I am determined to have a bee farm, and that honey can make everything taste better, and everything better. When I read that book I feel like I am going somewhere else, to Tiburon, South Carolina. I feel like I am just a part of the Daughters of Mary, and the Boatwright sisters. Maybe even that I live with them in that house painted the color Carribean Pink. Oh my. I truly love this book. Zach, oh my, I about die everytime I read something he says. August is one of the book characters that I see as a role model. I really enjoy this book, and the movie is really great too! So, if you need a good read, The Secret Life of Bees is the way to go! It involves some amazing characters and amazing stories. I love May too, now if I need to make a bug go outside without killing it, I'll use grahm crackers and marshmallows. :)

today i learned...

Everything happens for a reason. You have history with everyone for a reason. I realized while sitting in the auditorium tonight that life is ironic. Sometimes, it's just going to happen. I might cry, maybe it's pms or maybe I really do miss my friend. Math is hard. One of the hardest tasks for teenagers is to be kind, which is so unfortunate. The world can be even more wonderful if you just smile at someone and pay a complement. :) promise! flowers make me happy. Straight across bangs make me feel stylish. I stand up for what I believe in which means, yes, I am prolife. I don't believe in abortion, since that was a hot topic in u.s. history today. I belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I've already learned that, but each day I come to learn more about that. :) I learned that I need to stop overthinking and that I don't need to have expectations for something that I personally think about too much. Hi. I'm Maddie. I just want to write some things that you may not know.

This is kind of weird and a dorky fantasy of mine, but, someday I hope to be a beekeeper and harvest honey.

I love wearing cute dresses matched with a perfect cardigan.

I enjoy my pearl earrings. So much, that I wear them everyday.

Sometimes it makes me smile when a guy says, "Hey, Maddie, your hair looks great today!"

Wednesdays are my motivation.
High school is a sea of adolescence and insecturities. However, I am not a part of that. I'm the exception.

I get all worked up and excited when my assignments are passed back to me. :) weird. i know.

The most played album on my ipod is a church cd.

I want to be a high school english teacher. on birthdays i want to give them a pin and sing to them. they'll get to pick out of the treat jar. :) weird, but again, i think some teenagers would appreciate that.

I think that the most romantic thing ever is when a guy gives a girl flowers.

Relentless flirting is happening right now.

A good book, a sunny day, and the Gospel are a few of my favorite things.

Oh, and I enjoy a nice looking pair of shoes and guys with great hair and a nice smile.

hello wednesday. i love you.

today is a great day. why? because it's wednesday and wednesdays mean i get a letter. :) yay! Haha. oh my nerdiness is so evident in everything. come to find out, high school is still not bright and chipper, but hey, there are still some fun parts. like... well... like... i don't know. haha. nice weather though! i am enjoying sitting at home right now. back to school i go. :) oh today. what a treat!
