so... lately I'm into alternative music.
which is kind of weird for me.
but I like it. A lot.
Today I was thinking about a bucket list. . . here's some things I hope to cross off.
-Go on a date with an English boy and talk in English slang.
-I've been to concerts, but not a rock concert. I want to go to a real rock concert.
-Buy something that's way too much money. like the beautiful handbag I want so so so badly.

oh
I feel like I sit in the same spot when everyone around me is going places, doing great things and living life.
Sometimes, it seems that to do anything these days, you have to be crafty, or have money.
Neither of those things do I have.
So until then... I guess I'll just do whatever, try to be crafty. Fat chance of the craftiness though.
Being this bored makes me want to do something rash.
Maybe I'll paint my room.

my heart is, and always will be, yours. -edward ferrars
I need to watch some Jane Austen romance.
(Do any guys like them? Someone do feel free to answer...)
I want to go on a date with Benedict Cumberbatch or Ben Whishaw.
Some times, I'd just like a guy to not be afraid of me.
Heavenly Father has a nice bloke just for me. One who wouldn't mind watching some BBC, listening to 94.1, and my frizzy-Mrs.-Weasley-hair. And... a man who knows I like pickles on my Subway sandwich.
Heavenly Father knows what is best for my life and loves me. I am grateful for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am thankful for my family. They keep me in check; especially my brother Bridger. He is wise and only 13, though soon to be 14. The old kid will always give me good guy advice.
Do you need some romance?
yes, thank you very much.
love, Maddie Violet

blah blah blah
allergies...
leave me alone. I have never had you in my life and I don't really want you now.
last night when I went walking, I was thinking how nice it would be to have a guy to go to a movie with or just go get a smoothie with. guess I'll give my cousin a call.
reading is good. especially when I have nothing to do.
I need a job.
Weight Watchers works.
The church is true.

today is a good day!
I have been on weight watchers for almost a week now and I am already seeing a difference! I absolutely love love love it! They teach you moderation. Let's be honest here, everyone needs a little moderation in life, especially me. haha. I went walking with Libby last night and did 3 miles. It felt so good! I am already feeling better and results make me want to just keep going and going.
Sometimes in life, we aren't choosing the wrong, but we aren't on a spiritual high a lot of the time. This summer, I have felt that way. I am positive it's because I wasn't reading the scriptures. Well, I have been reading my scriptures and trying to live the Gospel with exactness. My week has started so nicely and I feel so much more in tune with the spirit. I am so grateful for the love of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ! I know that the church is true! I am grateful that Heavenly Father created this beautiful world so that we might enjoy nature!
I hope you all have a wonderful day today and remember who put the sun in the sky!
Cheers!

Taking a Crack at Creative Writing... comments are completely appropriate.
With a scarred heart, I took down the decoration of friendship, maybe even love; a symbol between two people with a string to connect their spirit's. It wasn't a generic show of affection like chocolate, roses or a heart. But a reminder that meant so much more than any other motif of love.
The first time I tried to let it go, I cried. I cried tears that silently flowed off of my cheek to drip onto my dark jeans. Some things are hard to let go. I couldn't throw it away. I wasn't ready for the presence to be vacant and me to be aware that it wouldn't exist anymore to comfort my thoughts.
Irony. It has to arrive sometime. I did take it down. In its place, I hung a heart. Light shimmers through the colored panes of the heart onto the soft interior. The first time the heart was in its place, ready for the trial; it hummed. The heart hummed a song of sadness because I knew what used to be in its place.
As moments pass, the humming has become a song of comfort with me and who I am. I threw the old one away, and it truly has left my life completely. You know something? I'm wonderful. I love me and the heart that adheres there is a symbol of love for myself, confidence, improvement.
Today I see a new beginning of hope to find myself.

yum!
So, for graduation, my dad gave me a cook book and a really cute apron which will come in great use. The book I was given is an old Better Homes and Gardens recipe book. The cover is checkered like a picnic blanket and it's worn out a bit from use. I was wondering what year it's from because it tells you things like, what to make when your husbands boss is company for dinner, how to pack your child's lunch, and table settings for different occasions. I was curious so having google, and amazon, I found it! Sure enough, it is from the year 1953! How swell is that? Well, It's pretty swell you crazy kids! I am so excited to bake some of the recipes! If you'd like to sample some, feel free to give me a call! I will absolutely be posting pictures of what I will be whipping up. Have a fantastic Thursday! Cheers love!
