There's something about singing that is so wonderful. Singing along with the radio is fun, but what's better is being in a choir where everyone starts singing and it sounds so awesome. It just gives me the chills when I hear music that is in perfect, or almost perfect harmony. Something about singing choral music just sparks so many different emotions and I love it with my whole heart. :) Call me a nerd. haha. Today I went to my first class, Chamber Choir. It's really intimidating at first because there are so many really amazing singers in there, but I am very excited for all of the music. Yay!

senior year jitters

Last night I had butterflies even thinking about today. Of course I could't sleep. I laid in my bed for about an hour before I fell asleep. About 3:30 am, I woke up with a really awful headache which ended in my waking up again at 4:00 walking downstairs to get some meds. On the bright side, I am excited to see people in my cute new outfit with my daring red heels. wish me luck people! Have a good first day everyone!

My dear high school,
I am not ready to walk in your hallways.

My summer

Summer in review:::

I went to snow shack with Doug Richardson. It was fun and he consumed an avalanche. I ate some mango salsa and woke up the next morning so swollen I couldn't even bend my fingers or open my eyes. Turns out I'm allergic to mangos. Because I had a horrid, and I mean horried reaction I had to take a steroid to make the hives go away. Attention:: Steroids will wreck your personal body image. I gained 10 lbs. from that pill and no, I didn't need, nor want those 10 lbs. I sent my dear friend on a mission a package shoved full with candy and a fun tennis ball velcro game thing complete with a good looking tie. I went to girls camp and had the time of my life! I loved every single minute and wouldn't trade those memories for anything! Special K, Baljeet, Jerking, coloring, sharing a sprite, and being the late ward. Work work work. More work and more work at the good ole' Taco Amigo. My sister Libby had Anna Liberty Tenney! Cutie! My sister Sophie got married to Thomas Clark! Today we had to take our dog to the shelter... :( Neville my turtle still loves me. I went to Eclipse with Bronte and freaked when the Harry Potter preview came on. I attended a party for a Greek God. My 5 year old cousin took me on the best date I've ever been on. My parents are still divorcing. I gained a stronger testimony of the church. My friend got the package and loved it!! Yay! My brother kills at football. I have gained a better love for Phineas and Firb... and Cake Boss. Went to Youth Conference and had a ball! Lunch at Sister Browers was so so so fun! I bought many items from Anthropologie. Summer... mine hasn't been too adventurous, but it was still so good!

anna liberty tenney

This is my niece. She has got to be the cutest thing on earth. I completely adore her perfectly shaped elf ears and the little mouse squeaks she makes. Anna is so funny and my sister is a great mom! Josh is a good dad too, he made up a little song about her. They are a cute little family. :)

Clair de Lune

Here's what I feel like when I hear Clair de Lune::

I'm in love. True Love. Love that lasts forever. That one love scene where the girl gives him a hug and he picks her up and twirls around... or the memories with that one special person are foggy, like someday they might disappear. Clair de Lune sounds like a love that is eternity no matter what happens. It sounds like a delicate young love... dancing together in a pretty ballroom in a castle or perhaps a ballroom in a library. It sounds like the tragic story of star crossed lovers. This is why I love music. Because it can be whatever it wants to be for each person.

sharpies, birthday cards, and following a yellow brick road

Today my brother and I were cleaning out my sisters room and we keep finding a bunch of nice things that we just don't use so my brother being himself says, "Maddie, we should sell this stuff. We could get like, 50 bucks for the weekend." Smart kid. So we started pulling things out and we go to our basement, (more like a trap than a basement), and we found a ton of our old stuffed animals. Right away I noticed I couldn't find a little purple bear with an ivory stomach. I was sad to see that my bear was gone because I slept with that thing for three years.

Items we are selling:
-Large Chocolate Fountain cleaned with all parts in the box.
-New stuffed animals.
-A glass cookie jar that looks like a stack of hat boxes.
-New Legos... boys...
-New Nick Jonas posters in frames.

I made a yard sale poster. It is the cutest poster ever! I am so proud of it! Yay for nice handwriting! Woo hoo!

Now the card. I have to send a birthday card to my friend on his mission. I sent a package a while back and it never arrived. That happening I am just sending a card but I am putting a coupon in the card that says, "I don't want a package to not get to you, so this coupon is for you to come to my house when you get back and we'll bake a cake and decorate with streamers. We can finish by blowing through the little party kazoos." What do you readers think of this? I think it'd be good because everyone one knows that Brithdays are the single best thing ever!!!

Tonight and tomorrow I am going to follow a Yellow Brick Road in my red glittery Keds. :)

date

So, my aunt calls my mom. "What days is Maddie off of work this week?" My mom says, "Well, I'm not sure..." My little cousin Brock, who is 5 years old has saved his money for months so that he can take me on a date to the movies. That is so cute! I babysit him and we go places in my car and stuff like that. He is such a smart kid. He can already read on a first grade level and he knows the parts of a train. I was telling my mom that it's sad that I can't get asked out on a date by anyone my age... but I can get asked out on a date by my 5 year old cousin. My life! What a treat! Besides, 5 year old boys aren't stupid yet, they are still so darn cute. So on Tuedsday night I am going to Shrek Forever After with Brock Bush, whom I sometimes call Brockli Bush.

the 70's

So, we're up. I do my mothers glitter toes and 10:30, but before that, I went to macey's to buy popsicles in my pajamas. Well, when I got back we watched an infomercial about a set of all the romance songs of the 70's. Come to find out my mom has seen many people in concert. Such as :: the Bee Gees, Diana Ross, and more that I can't remember. It was so funny. Oh man. I love late nights at my house. I have already talked like Baljeet tonight and I laugh when my mother asks me to say the prayer. Oh, I know that right about now you're saying I'm special... don't worry, my family tells me all the time. Now I am watching Cake Boss On Demand. I lead an exciting life. You're Jealous.

I am so grateful to be me, to live in a beautiful place, to have the things I have. I love the going to church every sunday only to find that it still seems so wonderful. :) I love today, I love my family. I love missionary news. I love my little brother. I love my sisters. I love my Mother. I am so glad to have a grandma who is fun to talk to nd always brings me service opportunities. I love spending time with her. I love a nice romance, and I love the light in my room. Today I am filled with joy and happiness because I tried harder to be my best self. Only when I do that, it emulates to other parts of my day and life. Today was good. Let's hope tomorrow is the same. I hope you all have a wonderful week and I am grateful for all of you readers!
