I love love love this skirt. It's so Americana it kills me... Should I spend the money on it? I can picture the outfit now, which makes me want it even more. Dang my love for clothing

Guess what? I made a strawberry pie today. It turned out rather lovely and I am happy because of it. Now I get to serve it to my friends. Don't worry, a quite large plop of whipped cream will sit nicely on top of those red ripe strawberries.

Sense and Sensibility

I have watched the Ang Lee version everyday for a week now. I love it so much. When I watch it, it's as if I'm almost there in the room while Mrs. Jennings babbles on with her gossip, and Marianne talks about poetry and love... Because I do love the movie very much, in fact with my whole heart, I would that I should read the novel written by Jane Austen. So here I go... Don't plan on even getting my attention because when I read a wonderful book, I invest my thoughts into the characters lives.

TOMS:One for One

Dear Readers, So today I was pulling my brand new TOMS out of the shoe box, and realized something. Everywhere I go I feel bad and wish that I could help other people by giving them the things they need. Obviously I'm not in any kind of finacial situation to do that so, I smiled when I looked at the back of the TOMS sticker and saw this... 5 Ways To Get Involved. I put the sticker on my car. I am receiving the documentary about how TOMS came about. I really believe in making a difference and TOMS gives back. Everytime you buy a pair of shoes, they will give back to children in the world who don't have a pair of shoes. I feel like I can really help by getting involved. I would like to host a party for TOMS, and I would like to know if any of you blog readers would be interested in it just to get some numbers of people who'd be interested. I firmly believe that we can make a difference and what better way then to buy a pair of cute shoes? I hope to get the community involved and possibly talk to KPGR about helping me. Also Artists who would be interested in volunteering to draw on shoes. I am still getting more info, but I would love if other people did it with me and would want to help. One for one.
