I shouldn't be blogging at this hour. I've had quite a long day. But it did start off with Spiderman, and let me tell you something, it was SO good. I surprised myself by crying at one part. There is just something so great about a person wanting to use power for the good of humanity. And yes I was that cheesy just now.
Today I am grateful for my mother. I'm sure that her mansions are going to be the loveliest in Heaven. My mom makes the most wonderful chocolate cake and lets me hug her more than twice a day. My mother always listens to me rant on about everything in my life and I am grateful for her listening. She is a perfect mom and I truly hope to be as good of a mother as she is.
While I watched Spiderman, I was thinking about how nice Peter Parker is. He's slightly nerdy and loves humanity, but with a touch of skater or something. Anyway, watching it made me all sentimental and stuff. You know? Probably not. But anyway, I look forward patiently to the day when I can be with someone who loves The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, loves humanity and is kind of weird like me. That'll be just great.
OH! I got a cello so I can start playing again. The sound is amazing on it. (story for another post.)
I helped plan a ward birthday party and only 12 showed up. oh well. We still enjoyed cake and ice cream.
Anna's party was great. Cute decorations, swimming and family. She'll be 2 on Monday. time flies.
I love my scriptures and I am very grateful for them. How ever would I get through my day trying to be like Jesus if I had nothing to go off of? Besides others being examples. *be a good example this week everyone.
You are all wonderful! Thank you for reading, and I apologize for the lengthy post, but I needed to write today. Cheers to a lovely Sunday afternoon with the sunshine and a cold beverage.
love, Maddie Violet
