Bronte and I crashed a wedding last night. Yes, we did go to a friends wedding, but we also crashed a wedding. We saw the lighted fence at Wadley Farms and said, "ah, what the hay?" We walked in in our dresses and signed the book. I have never done anything like that in my life. haha.
Since we were in the mood to party, and we didn't have anyone to call to party, we drove around for a while and then decided to go to the velour. Oh heavens. The minute I walked in I felt like I also walked right into a One Tree Hill episode. The first guy was really good although it sounded like the same song on repeat. I mean, how many songs can talk about cigarettes?
The next band was local, he had a nerd thing going on and so naturally, we thought they'd be good. We started laughing so hard we had to leave. And to add to all of that, there was this random guy standing with a cross-body/satchel/purse? it was like, one step, or maybe a half step up from the fanny pack, but still.
So here's to being drowned by hipsters, and having enough excitement to last me a couple months. Cheers! Happy Friday and I hope you have a lovely weekend!
