So I was tagged in a little liebster award, which is great because it's nice to not think of something to write for once. They ask a question, and you answer. Plus, I love awards! haha. so selfish of me.
I know there are all of the rules and everything, but seeing as I don't have time to find people and make up questions, I will just answer the questions given to me by meg at megbird. Love her blog. The world needs more writers.
ABOUT ME:
1. I love my red hair.
2. My nails are usually always painted, and when they start chipping, I pick the polish off. It's really a bad habit that needs to stop.
3. My favorite thing about summer is going to the movies; it's cold and dark in there.
4. Maddie is my name. Just Maddie. It is not short for anything and no, it isn't that interesting that my name is just Maddie.
5. Ever since I read the book The Secret Life of Bees, I have had the desire to become a beekeeper one day. I really do plan on fulfilling that dream. I even have a thin gold ring with a tiny honey bee on it that I wear everyday.
6. Christmas lights=magic. It's true. I mean, no one can resist being awed by thousands of tiny lights wrapped around hundreds of trees.
7. I love a nice beverage. I would so much rather have a good beverage, such as Fresca with 2 pumps of lime Italian soda syrup than candy or something like that.
8. I think my very favorite song has got to be Moonlight Serenade or Georgia on My Mind.
9. Retainers are horrible and yes, I still have to wear them every night. That's going to be real sexy when I'm married someday. haha. I am 19, about 20, and my retainers are still tight every time I put them on.
10. I love my news people. When Bruce Lindsay left KSL to go be a mission president, that was just about the worst thing for me. No one is the same, but I am getting used to the new guys.
11. Amelia Earhart is my definition of The American Dream.
MEG'S QUESTIONS
Do you ever wear socks to sleep?
-Honestly, no. I hate wearing socks to sleep! They drive me nuts and mostly I just feel like I am claustrophobic with socks on my feet and two blankets on top of that. Unless it's really cold. And I mean really cold.
If you could do anything right now, what would it be?
Probably have a family party. I love parties and family. Plus, we usually have heaps of fun.
What is your most irrational fear?
Being totally and completely lost with no one I know or love. I hate driving to new places, especially alone because I am horrible at directions. It is the absolute worst feeling to be lost.
What do you wish you could make money doing?
Oh this is easy, I wish I could own a bookshop on main street in PG with a good beverage cafe. I can close my eyes and see it/smell it right now. Or I would love to get paid to tell people how much Heavenly Father loves them, because I think more people need that in their life.
What truly seduces you? (eg: poetry, a man playing guitar, gifts, etc.)
I like guys who have facial hair. Because it's dapper? I don't know why. It grosses my sisters out, but I like it. Poetry is really nice too. Read me some Keats and I'll love you forever! Musical talent is good. I play the cello and my family is really into music, so that's why. But let's be real, it's highly attractive anyway.*I could have a whole post about this one question. maybe later.
What color of nail polish do you always come back to?
an Essie polish called ladylike, or I love the sinful colors polish called vacation time.
If you could spend the day with any famous individual, who would it be?
Thomas S. Monson. I would love to be with the prophet. I was actually able to meet his daughter, Ann M. Dibb and it was amazing. The spirit was completely radiating from her, and I have never met someone like that before in my life.
What is the story of your biggest heart break?
Wrote a kid on a mission, he came home, told me all about other girls he was going out with. That was a hard hard week for me. Don't get me wrong though, he's a good guy, but it was really hard. Good thing I have good friends.
What is your guilty pleasure T.V. show?
Frasier. I laugh so hard.
What do you hope your life will be like in ten years?
Hopefully teaching high school English, happily married for eternity, loving life, maybe a child?, doing my best in a calling, owning a Marc Jacobs purse and having traveled somewhere cool.
Do you eat fast or slow?
Slow. I'm always last.
Cheers! Happy Wednesday! now I have to study for stupid Sociology.
love, Maddie Violet

If you ever need help with that book store, let me know! I love that idea. Main street is the best.
