I cannot stand it when professors think that they know about everything under the sun; they're right, you're wrong. I never want my students to feel like their work is worthless or that they can't do anything right. When professors think that it's encouraging to tell you how awful your paper is, THAT IS NOT A WAY TO RESOLVE PROBLEMS.
To say the least, school was hard this week. I hope you have a lovely weekend. I just keep asking myself why the heck I want to be an English teacher, but I am looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow. Cheers!

I've had that happen to me Maddie. I wanted to cry when it did, but it oddly enough did motivate me to do better on the next one because I wanted to not get that grade.
I think you would be a great English teacher, so don't give up hope yet. College English professors are brutal.
If you ever want to talk about English/English teaching and anything it entails, I'm always here for you.
