Talents

Happy Sunday! Yesterday I went to a live streaming production of Macbeth from Manchester. I was so delighted and just completely awe inspired from the beginning. It did help a bit that Kenneth Branaugh was playing the role of Macbeth. I'm so grateful when people share their talents with the world. I love and appreciate it!

Speaking of talents, one of my favorite Hymn cd's is done by BYU's Vocal Point. The cd is called Lead Thou Me On: Hymns and Inspiration. Every time I listen to uplifting music, I know that the Holy Ghost is with me and wants to stay with me. Listening to good music fills my soul with joy and peace. Go to Spotify where you can take a listen. I'm sure you'll love it, and that it will give you a wonderful feeling as well.

You are more worthy!
“Young people, you cannot afford to fill your minds with the unworthy music of our day. It is not harmless. It can welcome onto the stage of your mind unworthy thoughts and set a tempo to which they dance and to which you may act. You degrade yourself when you identify with those things that at times surround extremes in music—the shabbiness, the irreverence, the immorality, the addictions. Such music is not worthy of you.” -Boyd K. Packer

I know that as you listen to music that allows the Holy Ghost to be with you, you will have peace, joy and contentment and those feelings will follow you throughout the day. You will notice a difference and so will the people around you; you will be carrying the spirit of Christ!

Cheers!

love, Maddie Violet
