My heart has a flutter today. I'm not in love; I'm not terribly stressed; I don't know what it is, but it's there.
My love for grammar is growing every day, and my hate for creating thesis statements is also growing every single day.
My favorite Frank Sinatra song is New York, New York. The only way to listen to it is when the volume is turned up real loud as to appreciate every big band melting moment and Sinatra's smooth singing. On my way home from work today, I turned it up and let the music fill me to the brim.
Reading poetry aloud is completely different than reading it in the mind. Poetry deserves to be read aloud and with great sensibility, especially if it's Helen Maria Williams.
I've seen every episode of The Andy Griffith Show and I'll still watch it. Last Sunday on PBS, there was a special on sitcoms that shaped television and I knew every one of the named television shows.
Honestly, what time period am I from? haha.
Cheers! Have a lovely weekend! I've been waiting all week for Saturday. Sleeping in brings me great joy. Really, it's the small and simple things that make life wonderful.
love, Maddie Violet
