I've thought a lot about memories today so I thought I'd share a couple of mine from childhood:
My dad rocking me to Olivia Newton John's Jenny Rebecca, also pulling out my nebulizer in the middle of the night due to a bad case of asthma.
I remember one time, my parents told us we might be going to Disneyland but it wasn't definite yet. That night I climbed onto a chair and looked in the medicine cabinet to retrieve a wishbone my brother and I had been saving for a special occasion. With closed eyes, counting to three, and both wishing for Disneyland, we broke the wishbone. We went to Disneyland. True Story.
All of the kids in my neighborhood would come over to our house in the summer and we'd play night games. Thinking we were super awesome, we played Survivor, like the reality show. We made up different challenges and even had an immunity item. haha. We were SO COOL! Seriously! Who even thinks of that? We even had the voting off, which got a bit messy with tears, but my neighborhood was the coolest.
Cheers!
love, Maddie Violet
